Bentley Flying Spur Launched in India at Rs. 5.25 crore

Bentley has launched the Flying Spur Hybrid for Rs 5.25 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi, before options). A 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine paired with an electric motor powers the plug-in hybrid Bentley, which has a combined range of up to 805km.

The Flying Spur Hybrid will be available in 60 different colors, as well as Mulliner customization options. Bentley also offers a blackline specification for the Flying Spur Hybrid, which includes blacked-out chrome trims such as the grille, window surrounds, headlight surrounds, door trims and handles, exhaust pipes, and the Flying B mascot. Furthermore, the ‘hybrid’ badge on the boot lid is the only indication that this Flying Spur is a hybrid.

With five standard and ten optional colors, Bentley offers customers 15 upholstery color options inside. They can also choose from eight different dashboard veneers. Bentley also offers contrast stitching, piping, and emblems on the seats to increase the level of customization.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid Powertrain

The 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and an electric motor that power the plug-in hybrid Flying Spur together produce 544hp and 750Nm. Bentley claims that the Flying Spur Hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.3 seconds and has a range of up to 805 kilometers with up to 41 kilometers of electric-only range.

Future Bentley Models

Bentley also stated that by 2024, a hybrid powertrain option will be available for all of its models, including the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga. Only the Continental GT is left now that the Flying Spur and Bentayga have a hybrid powertrain option. The British Marque will introduce an electric vehicle in 2025, and by 2030, all of its models will be EVs.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid Rivals

The Flying Spur Hybrid competes against the Mercedes-Maybach S580e on a global scale, but there are no direct competitors in India. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the Rolls-Royce Ghost, which cost between Rs 2.69 crore and Rs 3.40 crore and Rs 6.95 crore and Rs 7.95 crore respectively, are competitors of the standard Flying Spur.
