India’s Cheapest Electric Car PMV EaS-E Launched At Rs. 4.79 Lakh

PMV (Personal Mobility Vehicles) Electric has announced the launch of the Eas-E, its first electric car in the domestic market. With a price of Rs. 4.79 lakh, it is the most affordable passenger electric car money can buy right now (ex-showroom). The introductory price, however, will only be available to the first 100 customers.

The company is an EV startup based in Mumbai. It has been reported that approximately 6,000 pre-orders for the small electric vehicle have been placed. The PMV EaS-E is a city runabout with dimensions of 2,915 mm, 1,115 mm, and 1,600 mm, as well as a wheelbase length of 2,087 mm. The vehicle weighs only 550 kg and has a ground clearance of 170 mm.

The PMV EaS-E has room for two adults and a child despite its small size. Bookings for the EV can be made online for a nominal fee of Rs. 2,000. Don’t be fooled by its small stature, as it is equipped with a 48B battery pack capable of three different ranges: 120 km, 160 km, and 200 km on a single charge.

Deliveries of the small electric vehicle will begin in the middle of next calendar year, following the establishment of its manufacturing unit in Pune. The EaS-E also has a good set of features.

The two-seater comes standard with a horizontally positioned LED light bar, air conditioning, a digital infotainment screen, remote keyless entry, airbags, cruise control, drive modes, OTR updates, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, remote park assist, and other features.
