Fast and Furious has always been a popular franchise. Everyone likes to see fast cars, over-the-top stunts and ultimate action. As for the ninth and latest instalment of the series, some familiar faces have returned along with new ones. Many iconic cars have also returned with them. While it is exciting to see old cars back, the new ones are equally thrilling. It is great to see the hero(s) and Villain(s) fight, but we are inclined more towards these cars. So Let’s take a look at some of the coolest cars from the Fast and Furious 9 movie:-

1. Mid-Engined Dodge Charger
Dominic Toretto is a serious Mopar Guy. Look at his personal cars in the series and you’ll see one name – Dodge Charger. But none were this unique. This 1968 Charger gets power from a 6.2-litre Supercharged V8 engine. It has cost the team $1 million. Two such models were built. What’s so special about it? Well, unlike the traditional chargers; this one gets a mid-mounted engine setup. Just because the director wanted to do something with Dominic’s car which they hadn’t done before.

2. 2020 Toyota Supra (A90)
As we know that Han returns in this movie, he must get a great ride. And the A90 Supra is exactly what he would drive. Its colour scheme is reminiscent of his Mazda RX-7 from Tokyo Drift. It gets power from a 3.0-litre engine that can go from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds and its top speed is 155 mph.
3. Noble M600
The movie that mostly takes place in Britain can’t happen without British cars. That’s exactly what the director thought. He gave this Noble M600 to Helen Mirren i.e. mother of the Shaw brothers. She takes Dom for a ride in this supercar. The car gets power from a 4.4 litre Volvo/Yamaha V8 engine. It makes 650 HP on race setting while on track and road setting it can generate 550 HP and 450 HP respectively. It can do nought to 60 in just 3 seconds and its top speed is 225 mph. The M600 is definitely one of the coolest cars from Fast and Furious 9.

4. Rocket Powered Pontiac Fiero
Remember the then new ‘DK’ Sean Boswell ? He’s also back from Japan. Along with ‘Twinkie’, he’s shown to be working on a rocket-powered Pontiac Fiero. Crazy, right ? This mid-engine sportscar was built by General Motors in the mid 80’s. It gets power from a 2.5 litre LR8 I4 engine or a 2.8 litre L44 V6 engine as stock.
5. Armadillo
The Star vehicle of the climax scene is the Armadillo, a 14 feet high truck based on Mercedes Unimog. It took engineers four months to build this 26 ton beast. It was custom built in London. Vehicle Supervisor Alex King called it the ‘Mother Tucker’. We guess that’s a perfect way to describe it. It looks like nothing can stop it which is the whole point of the Armadillo.
