Google engineer who just gave her parents a brand-new SUV shares this same feeling. She posted a video of herself giving her parents an all-new MG Hector SUV. When they saw this gift from their daughter, both parents were beaming with happiness.
Instagram users Stories By Shailee have posted a video of the Google engineer giving her parents an MG Hector. It begins with the woman bringing her parents to the MG dealership wearing blindfolds. Interestingly, they came at the showroom in a different white MG Hector.
Following their arrival, the woman then takes the blindfold off of her father. Next up, she, along with her husband and parents, takes the red cover off of the newly gifted Hector SUV. She then hands over the key to her parents and they then hug each other. Lastly, her mother performs Hindu rituals for divine blessings.

A new 14-inch touchscreen also makes its way in, complete with a refreshed interface, new controls, and features. Additionally, it gets a Level 2 ADAS suite with features such as automatic emergency braking (pedestrian also), adaptive cruise control, bend cruise assistance, and forward collision warning. There’s also intelligent headlamp control, intelligent hydraulic braking assistance, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, safe distance warning, and traffic jam assist.
What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the MG Hector?
The new Hector continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 141bhp and 250Nm and uses the services of a six-speed manual and a CVT. On the other hand, the diesel unit includes a 2.0-litre motor, which makes 168bhp and 350Nm and is offered only with a six-speed manual gearbox. All these powertrains are BS6 Phase 2-compliant. What needs a special note is that a majority of the ADAS functions are not available for the diesel versions.
