The Honda car sales report for December 2023 has been officially released by the Japanese automaker. Honda Cars India managed to sell 7,902 cars in December 2023, up from 7,062 units in the same month in 2022, representing a 12% year-on-year increase. Furthermore, the manufacturer achieved its highest-ever monthly export of 3,749 vehicles, representing a 170 percent increase year on year.
In other developments, the Elevate SUV just crossed the 20,000 unit sales mark in the country within the first 100 days of its release. This Hyundai Creta rival is available in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX, with costs ranging from Rs. 10,99,900 to Rs. 16,19,900 (both prices are ex-showroom).
Honda Elevate Sales
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), also announced that its new mid-size SUV Honda Elevate has achieved the sales milestone of 20,000 units in 100 days since its launch in September’23. This milestone is a testament to Honda’s steadfast dedication to excellence and also showcases the trust and loyalty the brand has earned from its customers.
The Honda Elevate has solidified its presence in the competitive SUV market, carving out a noteworthy position. The new model accounted for over 50% of total HCIL sales during the last 3 months and has helped the company grow its sales by 11% in the said period (Sept – Nov) over last year.

In terms of exports, we recorded our highest-ever monthly export volume from India of 3,749 units.
