Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Coupe Launched in India

This is the second Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Edition to arrive in India and the first coupe with only 600 cars to be built and sold globally.

Automobili Lamborghini has launched the new Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Coupe in India, marking the second Aventador Ultimae Edition. The roadster has just arrived in India, and the coupe version is currently being delivered to a particular customer there. The Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Edition is the final iteration of the pure petrol V12 engine that has propelled the Italian marquee’s vehicles for many years. The Ultimae Edition is limited to 600 units worldwide, with 350 coupes and 250 roadsters available. We now have one of each in the country.

The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae sits between the Aventador SVJ and the Aventador S in terms of performance. It combines the finest of both worlds in a beautifully constructed package. (Thegamedial.com) The model has a carbon-fibre treatment that includes the front bumper, side skirts, and rear diffuser. This, coupled with other improvements, has allowed the Ultimae to shed 25 kg more than the Aventador S. The coupe comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, although 21-inch wheels are available as an option. To make it truly unique, Lamborghini offers 18 standard colours as well as 300 other hues to pick from.

Power on the Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Coupe comes for the 6.5-litre V12 motor. This is the most powerful iteration of the engine on the Aventador ever and develops 770 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The Aventador Ultimae coupe has some incredible performance numbers to its name with 0-100 kmph coming up in 2.8 seconds, while 0-200 kmph comes up in 8.7 seconds. The top speed is 355 kmph.

The cabin on the Aventador Ultimae remains identical to the S but you do get a specific plaque denoting the edition number. The cabin is also treated with black leather and Alcantara along with ‘comfort’ seats. There are customisable options too. Other features include four-wheel steering, active suspension, All-Wheel Drive, and four driving modes – Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Ego.
