With the introduction of the 2022 BMW G310R and G310 GS adv with new color schemes in India, BMW Motorrad has today launched the BMW G310 RR, its faired sibling. The BMW G310 RR is based on the TVS Apache RR310 and costs Rs. 2.85 lakh for the Standard variant (Rs. 20,000 more than the RR310), while the Style Sport costs Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the domestic market.
Because of its partnerships with TVS, the German premium motorcycle manufacturer has enjoyed tremendous success in global markets. The design of the BMW G310RR is influenced by the S1000 RR, but there are many obvious similarities with the TVS Apache RR310.

The fully-faired superport, which has a 0-60 kmph time of 3.9 seconds, can be reserved at BMW Motorrad’s authorised showrooms across the country as well as online. BMW’s lifestyle apparel line has accompanied its launch. As it sits between the G310 R and G310 GS, it has become the company’s most affordable faired bike. It is also significantly less expensive than the Kawasaki Ninja 300 (Rs. 52,000) and Rs. 28,000 less expensive than the 2022 KTM RC390.
BMW G310RR Design
The sleek bodywork, slender-looking dual LED projector headlamps, sharp LED turn signals, fairing giving a big bike feel, split seat setup with a raised rear section, compact LED tail lamp, rearview mirrors positioned on the front cowl, sculpted fuel tank of 11-litre capacity, and red finished exposed trellis frame are some of the highlights of the design.
2022 BMW G310RR Features
The new G310 RR features BMW’s signature red, blue, and white colour scheme, as well as a black hue similar to the S1000 RR, as well as a side-mounted exhaust pipe with heatshield, white rear monoshock with preload adjustability, and non-adjustable golden USD. There are also 41 mm front forks, rearward set footpegs and low-set clip-on handlebars, an angular windscreen, a five-inch TFT instrument console without Bluetooth connectivity, and four ride modes (Track, Rain, Sport, and Urban).
2022 BMW G310RR Performance
In terms of performance, a 312 cc reverse inclined liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine produces 34 PS and 28 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed transmission with slipper and assist clutch as standard. Front and rear disc brakes work in tandem with a dual-channel ABS system to provide braking power. It rides on Michelin Pilot Street tyres, as opposed to the Apache RR310’s Michelin Road 5 rubber. It has conventional brake rotors rather than the RR310’s petal-type discs.
