MG Motor India stated today that it has sold 1,00,000 vehicles in India. The Hector midsize SUV from the British automaker owned by China’s SAIC made its debut in the Indian auto market in 2019. The Hector, dubbed the country’s first Internet SUV, had a fantastic reception from buyers.

MG introduced the ZS EV and India’s first Level 1 autonomous capable SUV, the Gloster, riding on the wave of enthusiasm, and it was followed by the Astor late last year, which added personal AI assistant and Level 2 autonomous technology to the table. According to the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), it also ranks second among four-wheeler mass-market vehicles in terms of dealer satisfaction.
