Nissan Maxima Trailer Accident in Venice

Have you ever considered driving on a car carrier that had its ramp depressed, just like in the movies? Well, at least some of us do, but I can assure you that very few of us have actually done it, just like this Nissan Altima driver in a crash in Venice, Florida.

A Nissan Altima was seen perilously positioned near the top of a car carrier with its rear hanging on the sides, according to a Facebook post by Venice FL Fire Rescue. The sedan entered the ramp while travelling south on Pinebrook Rd, according to the fire department.

On Wednesday night, around 10:30 p.m., the Venice Fire Rescue received a call about an accident close to the intersection of Pinebrook Rd. and Pinebrook. A middle-aged man was in the driver’s seat when the rescuers arrived on the scene. It was unclear whether the driver was driving while distracted or whether the climb onto the ramp was intentional. Additionally, the Altima’s speed at the time of the collision wasn’t disclosed.

Notably, the car carrier was reportedly dropping off a car to a nearby resident at the time of the collision. It was parked under a streetlight with its ramp down and hazard lights on.

The driver was instructed to remain inside the car until the rescuers could stabilise the precariously positioned car in order to prevent further damage. Rescuers had to use heavy-duty straps to secure the front portion while stabilising the back with a wrecker. (modafinil online script) The driver wasn’t safely removed from the car until that point. Throughout the entire incident, the driver escaped unharmed.

Following extraction, the driver was given to the police and issued a ticket for careless driving.
