Renault Triber 2023 Launched In India With BS6 2.0 Compliant Engine

Renault India has modified its complete vehicle line, including the Kiger, Triber, and Kwid, to comply with the new BS6 Step 2 emission standards. This version also includes an expanded range of features for some models.

To meet the new RDE standards, which are expected to take effect later this year, all Renault vehicles will now be fitted with a self-diagnostic device. The gadget, together with other emission devices such as the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors, will continually check the vehicle’s pollution levels while driving.

The Renault Triber, along with the Kiger and Kwid, now come standard with Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The sub-four-metre car also receives new seat upholstery and a new chrome finish for the external door handles. Bookings for the new BS-VI Step 2-compliant Renault range began today at all authorised dealerships.

“Renault India is dedicated to the Government of India’s objective for a clean and green environment,” stated Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, on the occasion. The introduction of new BS-VI Step 2-compliant petrol engines throughout the range will result in significant emissions reductions, leading to a safer and cleaner environment. The introduction of additional class-leading safety features in our new 2023 range further reinforces our commitment to producing goods that can provide the highest global standards of safety that are affordable to Indian customers.”
