The oldest motorcycle brand in operations Royal Enfield sales in September are not that satisfactory for the company in this quarter. Although the company has managed to be on top of the list of top motorcycles above 500cc sales in India. But the company’s majority of sales comes from 350cc bikes in their portfolio.
The up to 350cc section, which turns out to be Royal Enfield’s center strength has endured a hard shot. In this section, they sell Classic 350, Meteor, Bullet, and Electra. which has seen the downfall of around 29k units, down from 54,434 units at 53.12 percent decay. But on yearly basis sales grew 10% at 2,08,201 units, up from 1,89,608 units last year.
Royal Enfield Bike Sales Month on Month Basis
Talking about the month-on-month growth Royal Enfield has seen a total decline of about 27% compared to August 2021. The major part of sales in the company comes from the less than 350cc bikes but this month was worst for them. The company has seen the downfall of 13,052 over the previous month which means a -33.84% decline. But the sales of big bikes from RE have seen a growth of 9.89% thanks to RE Interceptor and Continental GT.

Royal Enfield Bike Sales Year On Year Basis
While every major auto brands sales are down by massive difference RE also follows the same. RE motorcycles share has decline by -44.42% with the difference of 26,802 units compared to same period last year. And most decline in growth can be seen in the less than 350cc engine bikes segment. Which has down to 25,520 from 54,434 units last year.
