The future Kia EV6 was recently sighted in India, ahead of its May introduction. The Kia EV6 is expected to cost roughly INR 50 lakh when it arrives in India via the CBU route (ex-showroom). The Kia EV6 will be the first vehicle in Kia’s electric mobility range to be sold in India, and it will be imported as a CBU (fully assembled unit). This electric crossover is built on the brand’s latest e-GMP platform and will feature a design philosophy that is diametrically opposed to United’s. Furthermore, the Kia EV6 has a powerful road presence and will undoubtedly draw a lot of attention on the roads.
The Kia EV6’s interior will be feature-rich and upmarket, with a dual-screen layout and luxury dashboard layout. A digital instrument dashboard, heads-up display, two-spoke steering wheel, and a multitude of ADAS systems are among the features of the electric crossover. The Kia EV6 will also include options such as push-button start, automatic climate control, power windows, and more.
While the company hasn’t revealed any details regarding the powertrain, the EV6 is available in a range of powertrain configurations around the world. These include a 58kWh battery pack with two drivetrain options to select from: a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) layout with a 170 hp single-motor arrangement and an all-wheel-drive layout with a dual-motor setup that produces 235 hp.
Additionally, a larger 77.4 kWh battery pack is available for the Kia EV6. A 229 hp single-motor RWD version and a 325 hp dual-motor AWD version are available for this edition. The EV6 GT, on the other hand, has a more powerful engine and a dual-motor AWD system. The car’s max power and torque outputs are 585 horsepower and 740 Nm, respectively, in this performance-oriented version.
