Major auto brands are always waiting for the festive season, like the sales in these periods touch 50% more than the rest of the year. So let’s have a look at upcoming cars in October.
1. Tata Punch
The start of October will be amazing as India’s Major automaker Tata is all set to launch the new Micro-SUV Tata Punch in India. The company is planning to launch this amazing car on the 4th of October. Tata already has revealed a lot of features and specs of the new car.
The Car will be available in 4 trims and 6 color options. And it will feature the same 1.2-liter Revtron Petrol Engine which is also used in Tata Altroz. The Micro-SUV will be available with both Manual and Automatic Transmission and it will generate 85BHp and 113Nm of torque. The interior of the car will be very much similar to the Altorz but the new car will have more boot space and more ground clearance. The main highlight of the car will be the HARMAN music system.
2. MG Astor
MG has introduced their Tech Savy SUV last month but the official launching of the car is set for the 6th of October. Booking dates and the official pricing of the car will be out on this day. The car is the first of its kind but it will rival the existing players like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and the recently launched Volkswagen Taigun.
The Car has been already displayed in showrooms and some of the dealerships have already starting unofficial bookings for the car. The Astor will be only available with a Petrol engine option no diesel option can be seen in all trims. The car will be the first in the segment to offer ADAS, Personal AI Assistant, and Heated ORVMs.
3. Mahindra XUV700
The Mahindra XUV700 is already being the most awaited car of 2021 and finally, the company has announced the official launch of the new SUV in October. The company has not yet disclosed the date of launch but, today unveiled the pricing of all trims.
The SUV will be available with two engine options a 2-liter Turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine. The 2 engine option will be available on both MX and AX trims. Pricing of the Mahindra XUV700 will start at Rs.11.9 Lakhs for the MX trim, Rs.13.99 for the AX trims.

4. Next Gen Maruti Celerio
Recently the reports have suggested that the car will be launching around the first week of November. The new-gen hatchback will have an angular design and the interior will be better than the current generation car. The car will be available with factory fitted CNG kit. Also, the company could bring this car with the 1. (thedentalspa) 2-liter Wagon-R engine and 1.0-liter K10 petrol engine. And the transmission duties will be carried by the Manual and the AMT transmission.
5. Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4
Toyota has launched the facelifted Fortuner earlier this year and the company is planning to launch the Legender 4X4 version of the same next week. The existing Legender variant comes with 2WD and 6-speed automatic transmission and no other change will be made in the new variant.
The premium SUV comes with a 2.7-liter petrol engine which generates 204Bhp power and 420Nm of torque. And the Diesel engine comes with an automatic gearbox with 500Nm of torque. The New Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4 price will be disclosed on the 8th of October. Also, it will be interesting to see the new features of the SUV.
