Hero MotoCorp is getting ready to introduce a new scooter over the holiday season.
The model, known as the Hero Maestro Xoom, will have some additional features and fresh design cues that set it apart from the Maestro Edge 110cc.
1. New Maestro Xoom
The new Maestro Xoom will be more expensive and positioned above the Maestro Edge, which is currently offered for between Rs 66,820 (drum variant) and Rs 73,498. (disc variant). As was already mentioned, the Hero Maestro Xoom will also include a fully digital instrument console in addition to other goodies. The device will be Bluetooth-enabled, allowing users to connect handsets to access calls, music, and other features.
2. What’s New?
There won’t likely be any engine configuration changes. The 110.9cc, air-cooled engine that powers the Maestro Edge is probably also used in the Hero Maestro Xoom.
The motor is rated to produce 8.7Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm and 8bhp at 7,250 rpm.
Hero’s i3S technology, which improves fuel efficiency, will benefit it. It has a dedicated button on the handlebar that can be used to turn it on.
3. Competitors
Speaking of Hero’s upcoming products, on October 7, 2022, the company will introduce its first electric scooter under the Vida subbrand. The model, which will compete with the Bajaj E-Chetak and TVS iQube, is anticipated to cost around Rs.1 Lakhs.
The scooter will be supported at the front by traditional telescopic forks and at the back by a mono-shock. On 10″ alloy wheels, a front disc and rear drum setup could be used for braking.
4. Expected Launching
Expect future Hero Maestro Xoom to debut in October 2022, at the height of the upcoming holiday season. When it is released, the new Maestro Xoom will face off against the TVS Jupiter, Honda Activa, and Honda Dio in its segment.
