2022 Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE To Be U.S. Exclusive

Did you fall in love with the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE’s design but were unable to purchase one when it was first released? That’s fine; in 2020, there was a lot going on. If one of your bikes has gotten away, we have some good news from Ducati North America for you. In 2022, a special second-generation Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE will hit dealerships in the United States.

It does, however, include the magnificent Graffiti livery, which first debuted at the 2019 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este exhibition on the banks of beautiful Lake Como, Italy. Although it was simply an idea at the time, Centro Stile Ducati received a lot of positive feedback. The design of the first-generation Hypermotard 950 RVE didn’t alter much between the idea and its release in 2020. This was greatly appreciated by fans, as it is not often that concepts make it into production without incident.

2022 Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE Engine

The second-generation Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE sits between the standard Hypermotard 950 and the 950 SP once more. It’s driven by a 937cc Testastretta engine that produces 114 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 71 pound-feet of torque at 7,250 rpm, according to the manufacturer. Around 80% of the 950’s torque is available between 3,000 and 9,500 rpm, according to Ducati, making it exceedingly easy and entertaining to tap into when riding.

Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE Features

A fully adjustable 45mm Marzocchi fork and Sachs monoshock setup handle the suspension duties. Braking responsibilities are shared between a pair of Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monoblock calipers upfront (with 320mm brake discs) and a single two-piston Brembo caliper in the back (with a 245mm disc). The second-generation Hypermotard 950 RVE has traction control, wheelie control, Bosch cornering ABS, and an up/down quickshifter to make your riding life easier.

But let’s get back to the Graffiti livery. It’s lovely, but it’s also a time-consuming procedure to manufacture, which is why Ducati claims only 100 more will be made. To get everything to look right, layers of extremely thin decals must be put in stages, with the required methods followed and time regulated. However, the ultimate effect appears to be well worth the effort.

2022 Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE Price

If you’re eager to get your hands on one, the second-generation Hypermotard 950 RVE will be available in late May 2022 in the United States. The MSRP will be $15,695, and pre-sold orders will be the only way to get one. So, if you want one, you should contact your local Ducati dealer as soon as possible.
