2022 KTM RC390 Specs, Engine, Price, Launch Date
KTM already working on RC range and in the process of updating RC 125, 200, 390. The new gen RC 390 avatar could be the frist to be launching in the entire range. Photos of the 2022 KTM RC 390 have now leaked via official website.
Earlier Today, KTM by mistakely made RC 390 Photos live on official website. However, It was soon taken down. Thanks to petrolheads (automotive enthusiast) Yadu Krishnan who managed to save before it takes down. So let’s know the 2022 KTM RC 390 in detail.
2022 KTM RC390: Design & Looks
From the picture RC gets single LED headlamps by replacing projector headlights at the front on the recent. This looks more closely to the 390 Duke which uses the same LED headlamps. DRL’s are quite popular in latest bike also DRL’s enhance the overall styling of the bike especially front fascia. The new gen could get dual tone livery of Blue and Orange shade. Looking on the fuel tank which looks larger compared to recent which has fuel tank of 9.5 litres.
The major change in this bike that it has changed riding position. On the new RC the rider seems more comfortable and relaxed can be compared to very sports tourer. This because of higher up handlebars & more forward-set foot pegs. Pillion seats also seems to have improved in new RC 390.
The fairing has undergone a major refresh, although it carries on with the core theme of double-layer design. Whether it’s better than the current version is a subjective matter, better left to user interpretations.
2022 KTM RC390: Engine & Specs
Technically there’s no major changes everything remains same i.e 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine which puts out 43 hp of max power and 35 nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to 6-speed gearbox. However, as this is updated version thus it’s definitely going to be refined and improved there could be the possibility of small tweaks. KTM has consistently improved it over the years, including changes that were required to meet new emission norms.
2022 KTM RC 390 gets bolt-on-frame in place of welded-on which means Chasis definitely gets a update. However, suspension remains the same as previous USD forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear with braced alloy swingarm.

The KTM RC 390 is expected to be launch this month, in the upcoming weeks. As everything goes well and good the KTM RC 390 could be launch on time. However, the KTM RC 390 is definitely going to be costlier than the previous one. The expected price of KTM RC 390 could be around Rs. 2.77 Lakh.
