1. SL 65 AMG

When the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG was unveiled in 2004, sports car fans were ecstatic because they knew they were in for a treat. The 6-liter V12 engine beneath the hood was tweaked to produce 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque with the help of two turbochargers.

It was mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and clocked in at 3.6 seconds for 60 mph and 11.6 seconds for the quarter-mile. The SL 65 AMG was fast, stylish, and successful, with an entertainment system that included navigation.

2. SLS AMG Black Series

At the 2012 LA Auto Show, the unique SLS AMG Black Series was presented, sporting a heady blend of enhanced firepower and superb driving characteristics. It could achieve 60 mph in 3.2 seconds thanks to the 622 horsepower produced by the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine at the time.
