The City gets an upgraded i-VTEC petrol engine and an i-DTEC turbodiesel engine options. The last entry on the list is also the safest car. It is the Tata Nexon. Its turbo petrol engine now produces 120 BHP and 170 Nm of torque while the diesel engine makes 110 BHP and 260 Nm of peak torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed manual or an optional automatic transmission. On the fuel economy front, the petrol engine can give 17-21 kmpl and the diesel one can give 21-24 kmpl, depending on transmission.
