Booking Opens For Citroen C3
Citroen India has begun accepting formal reservations for the Citroen eC3 for a nominal fee of Rs 25,000. The electric hatchback, which is the electric version of the C3 hatchback, was introduced earlier this week. The eC3 will be available in two varieties, Live and Feel, and will most likely be released next month. We drove the Citroen eC3 and here are our thoughts on it.
The eC3 looks identical to the C3 hatchback, but it has a slew of EV-specific features that set it apart from its ICE predecessor. This comprises a charging flap positioned on the front fender, the ‘e’ emblem, and unique external shades. The eC3 is available in 13 different colors and three different customization kits. Other features include split headlights, 15-inch steel wheels, and roof rails.
The Citroen eC3’s cockpit has a 10-inch touchscreen entertainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a height-adjustable driver seat, steering wheel tilt adjustment, reverse parking sensors, and three USB charging points.
The Tata Tiago EV competitor is outfitted with a 29.2kWh battery pack that powers the electric motors, which provide 56bhp and 143Nm of torque. The eC3 features a 15amp and DC fast charger, a 320km driving range, and an electronically regulated peak speed of 107kmph. The Citroen eC3 will be priced between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 13 lakh.
