Mahindra Thar and Suzuki Jimny Seen Together For First Time Ever

The Maruti Suzuki Jimmy has been anticipated by auto enthusiasts in India. The Indian model is currently in development. A foreign model has, however, already arrived in the nation. It appears that the Maruti Suzuki Jimmy has been temporarily imported from Dubai via Carnet. The new off-road vehicle is Mahindra Thar’s direct rival. The differences between the stances and road presence of the Mahindra Thar 3-Door and the Maruti Suzuki Jimmy can be seen in new comparison photos. Let’s examine it closely!

As you can see in the photos by Cyrus Dhabhar up top, the Mahindra Thar and Suzuki Jimny go well together. These photos are the first ones to show the two off-road vehicles parked next to each other. Both SUVs have an upright, boxy stance, and they both have a rugged appeal. Both vehicles receive widened wheel arches, angular front and rear bumpers, a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, blacked-out door handles, rearview mirrors, and chunky-looking alloy wheels with off-road tyre specifications.

The Mahindra Thar and Suzuki Jimny complement each other, as can be seen in the images by Cyrus Dhabhar up top. The two off-road cars are parked next to one another for the first time in these pictures. Both SUVs have a boxy, upright stance and a rugged aesthetic. Wider wheel wells, angular front and rear bumpers, a spare tyre mounted on the tailgate, blacked-out door handles, rearview mirrors, and chunky-looking alloy wheels with off-road tyre specifications are added to both vehicles.

The 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Jimmy generates 105 PS of power and 138 Nm of torque. It offers both a 4-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual transmission. The well-known vehicle has an AllGrip four-wheel-drive system. A new generation 1.5-liter K15C Dualjet petrol engine with a 5-speed manual/6-speed automatic transmission is expected to power the Indian model. It will reportedly produce 103 PS and 136.8 Nm of torque. The launch in India is anticipated to take place early in 2019. There is currently no information available regarding its price.
