Mahindra Thar RWD Variant Deliveries Started – See Details
Mahindra unveiled the Thar RWD variant this month, with pricing beginning at Rs 9.99 lakh in India (ex-showroom). The Indian automaker has already begun delivering the new SUV models across the country.
The new Mahindra Thar RWD comes with two powerplant choices. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder mStallion turbo-petrol engine produces 150bhp and 320Nm of torque and is exclusively coupled to a torque converter automatic transmission. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder unit that produces 117bhp and 300Nm of torque and is only available with a six-speed manual transmission.
The Mahindra Thar RWD is now available in two additional colours: Everest White and Blazing Bronze. Red Rage, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, and Aqua Marine are all available. Customers can select between three models: AX(O) Diesel MT hard-top, LX Diesel MT hard-top, and LX Petrol AT hard-top. This edition is presently on backorder for more than a year.
