Maserati GranTurismo Folgore electric grand tourer is capable of reaching 0-100 kmph in 2.7 seconds.
The next-generation GranTurismo from Maserati has been shown, and it sports the Folgore logo, which is reserved for the brand’s electric vehicles. The automotive manufacturer has unveiled a teaser film that, shockingly, only leaves the exterior of the vehicle to be seen. The inside is still a mystery, though.
The electric GT is presented in the teaser film without any disguise, revealing a modern-looking but well-known design. It’s simple to see the charging port beneath the left taillight. According to the automobile, a full charge may provide a 100 km range in just five minutes.
The GranTurismo Folgore, according to Maserati, will have a tri-motor system with a maximum power output of 1,200 horsepower. In just 3.7 seconds, the car will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour. (Phentermine) The car claims to be capable of flat-out reaching 320 kmph.
The Maserati GranTurismo is an electric vehicle, thus it doesn’t sound like any other EV. But the automaker gives the electric sports car artificial sound in an effort to imitate the sound of a big internal combustion engine. Additionally, Maserati intends to release a petrol GranTurismo with a Nettuno V6 engine.
Speaking about the design, the 2023-bound first electric car from Maserati comes taking influence from the current GranTurismo that was introduced way back in 2007. Coming to the interior, Maserati kept it a mystery apart from giving us a glimpse of the dual-tone cabin with individual rear seats and a centre console positioned on top of the centre tunnel that houses the battery pack.
Maserati has taken the pledge to make all its cars electric by the middle of this decade, ahead of the 2030 deadline. The upcoming GranTurismo Folgore is expected to play a key role in that strategy for the car brand.
