The 2022 The Tata Nexon EV Will Be Packed With Features – Report

The Tata Nexon EV facelift is set to debut in the country in 2022, according to the homegrown automaker. The electric SUV will get a major powertrain upgrade, as well as a slew of new features and stylistic tweaks. According to a recent media rumour, the business may include features like ventilated seats, cruise control, and a park function in the upcoming Nexon EV. It may also be equipped with an air purifier and an electronic stability programme (ESP).

To remind you, the normal Nexon model lineup recently gained two additional versions, both of which have an air purifier, heated front seats, an auto dimming inside rear view mirror, and Benecke Kalio leatherette upholstery.

Its design and appearance will be tweaked somewhat. As previously stated, the new Tata Nexon EV in 2022 will receive a big upgrade in the shape of a larger 40kWh battery pack with a range of over 400km on a single charge. It is expected to have a range of 300-320 kilometres in real-world settings. Surprisingly, the new Nexon EV will also be available with the existing 30.3kWh battery pack. According to the source, the Tata Nexon EV would be available with a more powerful 6.6kW AC charger. The electric SUV now comes with a 3.3kW AC charger that can charge it in 10 hours. The present 3.3kW AC charger, like the smaller battery pack, may continue to be available. The new Nexon EV could be fitted with variable regeneration modes that let the driver to vary the intensity of regenerative braking to increase range.

The long-range 2022 Tata Nexon EV is projected to cost Rs 3 lakh – Rs 4 lakh more due to improved range, more features, and somewhat modified appearance. The electric SUV is currently available in four trim levels: XZ+, XZ+ Dark Edition, XZ+ LUX, and XZ+ LUX Dark Edition, with prices ranging from Rs 16.78 lakh to Rs 17.13 lakh to Rs 17.82 lakh to Rs 18.03 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
