WILL.I.AMG Is A GT 4-Door Coupe With Fewer Doors And G-Class Face

West Coast Customs built the contraption with a bear badge.

You might be tempted to think this is a Photoshop trick, but it’s not. Yes, absolutely. A Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe was given a G-Class face by i.am. When the former’s boxy style meets the latter’s swoopy shape, you know it’s going to be a tremendously contentious aesthetic. The one-of-a-kind vehicle, which rides on big retro-style monoblock wheels and lacks rear doors, is now a real coupe.

The WILL.I.AMG is officially known as “The Flip,” and it boasts enormous rear-hinged doors similar to the Rolls-Royce Wraith. The GT 4-Door Coupe’s drastic redesign didn’t extend to the engine compartment, which was left unaltered. The seven-time Grammy winner claims that AMG produces the best engines in the industry. The GT 63 version has 577 horsepower, while the S version has 630 horsepower, and the new 63 S E Performance plug-in hybrid has 830 horsepower.

The WILL.I.AMG will be featured in a six-part documentary titled “DRIVE,” which is planned to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, “The Flip” will make its public debut during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix this weekend. The entire point of the unusual production is to reach out to underserved youngsters and motivate them to achieve greater heights. To that purpose, the artist’s i.am/Angel Foundation will get a percentage of the sales from the Bear Witness collection Drop 1 – Limited Edition.
