1. New Generation Maruti Brezza
The Maruti Brezza’s second generation is set to debut in April 2022. The company will make significant aesthetic and interior improvements, as well as offer a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission. According to rumours, the 2022 Maruti Brezzza would feature a 360-degree camera, a factory-fitted electric sunroof, electronic stability programme (ESP), and six airbags. The tiny SUV will be powered by the same 1.5L K15B petrol engine, but with hybrid technology. The new Brezza will be more fuel efficient than the current model if this happens.

2. Jeep Meridian
The all-new Meridian, which is due to join showrooms in May 2022, is Jeep India’s entry into the 7-seater SUV sector. The vehicle will be available with the same 2.0L Multijet II diesel engine that powers the Compass. It might, however, be retuned to generate more power. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be available. According to reports, the Jeep Meridian will be available with a 1.3L turbo petrol engine with 187 horsepower at a later date. The SUV will be offered in six and seven-seat configurations, the latter having captain chairs in the middle row.

3. New Gen Hyundai Tucson
In the coming months, the Hyundai Tucson will enter its new generation. Its official release date has yet to be determined. Hyundai’s new Sensuous Sportiness design language, as well as the parametric front grille and LED headlamps, will be featured on the 2022 Hyundai Tucson. The SUV will feature a dual-screen entertainment system with smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity on the inside. The new Tucson is expected to be available in India with the same 2.0L turbo petrol and turbo diesel engines as the current model.

4. New Gen Mahindra Scorpio
The new Mahindra Scorpio is expected to make its début in June, followed by a launch around the Diwali season of 2022. Its underpinnings, engines, design, and interior will all undergo significant alterations. The 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines will be offered in the Mahindra Scorpio in 2022. The former produces 130bhp on lower variants and 160bhp on higher variants, while the latter produces 155bhp. The 4X4 drivetrain technology, several drive modes, and terrain settings will be standard on higher models. The new generation will be larger and include more features than the current one.

5. New Maruti Toyota Mid Sized SUV’s
In the second part of 2022, Maruti and Toyota will unveil their new mid-size SUVs. Platforms, engines, and a few other components will be shared by both types. The SUVs, on the other hand, will be distinctive. The SUVs are said to be powered by a 1.5L K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine and are codenamed Toyota D22 and Maruti YFG. The company may also offer the hybrid technology with a gasoline engine. The future Maruti and Toyota mid-size SUVs, which will be based on the DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform, are expected to be lightweight and feature a solid body.
