Tata Curvv Electric SUV Concept Revealed in India

Tata Curvv electric SUV concept features an LED guideline running across the bonnet, LED tail lights, and a coupe roofline that drops drastically to meet the rear spoiler. Tata hasn’t revealed Curvv’s powertrain specifications but it will be underpinned by the carmaker’s second-generation EV architecture that will offer a driving range of up to 500 km per charge.

Tata Motors has been leading the electric car segment in India with Nexon EV and the Tigor EV. The company has been facilitating the EV transition from petrol and diesel cars to electric cars because of the relatively affordable price tag of their products and the availability of two diverse EVs as opposed to its rivals that currently have only one electric car in the portfolios in the country. Going forward, Tata Motors plans to introduce several electric cars in the country, including the Tiago EV and Altroz EV, both of which were showcased at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. Now while we are yet to receive an official timeline for these new Tata electric cars to reach our shores, the Indian carmaker has taken the wraps off a new electric SUV concept. Christened Curvv, this e-SUV concept previews a new Tata SUV that will be first introduced with an electric powertrain and later on will be available with an internal combustion engine. The interesting thing to note that the Curvv concept will reach production stage in 2 years.
