In the FY 2021 automotive industry has seen all new car launch. Car companies have showcased top notch models for there customers. With compact SUV and Mid size SUV are the hottest segment in India. Undoubtedly we have seen many new cars offered with premium features. Mahindra XUV700 and MG Astor are some recent launches. 1. Mahindra Scorpio (Next Genration)
The next generation of the Mahindra Scorpio is all set to launch in the year 2022. The nameplate Scorpio is very near and dear to the Indian masses. The all new Scorpio will get electric sunroof, LED Headlights and more such new features customer ask for. for the very first time Mahindra is going to feature its mStallion petrol engine for the very first time in Scorpio. It may be offered with a 1.5L petrol and 2.2L diesel engine. The Next gen Scorpio is expected to launch in mid of 2022. The price of the car for the top variant may cost upto Rs. 20 Lakhs.
2. Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The most awaited flagship model of Maruti Suzuki is all set to be launched in 2022. It will be available with a 1.5L petrol engine which will churn out 101 Bhp. The company will launch it as 5 door version. It will be offered with all new safety features. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be launched in the festive season of 2022. It will directly rival with Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha.
3. Maruti Suzuki Brezza (Next Genration)
The Vitara Brezza is one of the finest model introduced by the company. It is eventually the only model of Maruti Suzuki to score 4 star safety rating in Global NCAP. The next genration of the Brezza will get all new styling in and out. It will now get 6-speed automatic transmission which is an upgrade over the existing 4-speed AT transmisson.
4. Hyundai Venue (Facelift)
The most selling car of Hyundai is the Venue. Now the Korean makers have decided to launch its facelift very soon. However there will be no update in powertrain it will get cosmetic updates. There will be no change in dimensions but the front will get more beautiful and aggressive styling. The Hyundai Venue facelift is likely to be launched in India by mid of 2022. It is expected to be priced from Rs. 7 lakh to 12 Lakh.

5. Tata Sierra
The legendary Tata Sierra is all set to do a comeback in 2022. Going with the trend it will feature an all electric powertrain. Although the petrol and diesel engine will also be offered. The Tara Sierra was the first SUV in India, it is now all set to dominate the segment. The Tata Sierra EV is likely to feature the Ziptron EV powertrain and offer 400km range on a single charge. It is estimated to price around Rs. 14 lakhs. It may launch in January 2022.
6. Maruti-Toyota SUV
Maruti Suzuki and Toyota is all set to reveal Creta-Seltos rival. It is to be made at the Toyota plant from 2022. The Japanese automakers are jointly working on a mid-size SUV. Maruti Suzuki is also aiming to score 5 star Global NCAP rating. The rivalry in the segment will surely turn intense with this flagship SUV resulting from Japanese engineering.
7. Jeep Commander
The Indian bound Jeep Commander is all set to launch in India by end of this year. It was earlier revealed in Brazil. It will be a 7 seater SUV. Jeep will retail it as ‘Merdian’ in India. The Commander has its distinct styling. It will feature a 1.4-litre petrol engine. It is estimated to be priced for Rs. 26 lakh to Rs 32 lakh.
8. Mahindra XUV300 (Facelift)
The XUV300 is top selling compact SUV of the company. It is a 5 seater suv. Mahindra has not revealed any technical specifications of the EV. The EV gets few cosmetic updates and may offer range upto 300 km. We expect it to be priced around Rs. 16 to 18 Lakh. It is expected to be launched in April 2022.
