The price of the Jeep Meridian is yet to be announced. However, it is expected to cost between Rs 25.00 and Rs 35.00 lakh. The Toyota Fortuner currently costs between Rs 31.39 lakh and Rs 43.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Jeep Meridian is equipped with a 2.0L Turbo-Diesel engine that produces 170 horsepower and 350 Nm and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual transmission. It will be available in four-wheel-drive 4X4 and four-wheel-drive 4X2 configurations. The new model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 10.8 seconds. It has a top speed of 198 kilometres per hour. Auto, Sand, Snow, and Mud are some of the driving modes available.
The Toyota Fortuner, on the other hand, is equipped with a 2.7-litre petrol engine (164bhp/245Nm) and a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine (201bhp/420Nm). It comes with both a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission. The SUV comes with both rear-wheel and four-wheel drivetrain options. It has a 10.0 kmpl fuel efficiency.
