All over the world major Automakers have announced to go fully electric. Following the swing worldwide, the wave of electrification has slowly but certainly caught pace in India too. Tata Tiago EV
Tigor EV was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo event. The Tigor EV looks identical to its fuel powered versions, and gets blue strokes all around on the exterior. It is powered by a 30kW electric motor and a 216Ah battery pack. The EV has a 130km range and has a top speed of 100kmph. It will be offered for a price range of Rs. 6 to 7 lakhs.
Tata Altroz EV
Another EV which will be offered by the company is Altroz. Tata Altroz is a 5 seater hactback. The hot hactback is same inside out as its ICE counterpart. It feature a battery pack with 30kWh capacity that will offer a range of about 300 km on a single charge. Altroz EV will be available for a price tag of Rs. 14 lakhs. The company will launch this EV by end of this year.
Mahindra eKUV 100 EV
The eKUV 100 gets a 15.9kWh battery pack with an electric motor rated at 54.4PS and 120Nm. It offers 147 kilometres range and can be charged up to 80 percent in 55 minutes with a fast charger. It is expected to be launched by end of this year and will be available for Rs. 10 lakh. The eKUV 100 will offer all new tech first in its segment.
Mahindra eXUV300 EV
The eXUV300 Electric is a 5 seater suv. Mahindra has not revealed any technical specifications of the EV. The EV gets few cosmetic updates and may offere range upto 300 km. We expect it to be priced around Rs. 16 to 18 Lakh. It will directly rival with segment leader, the Tata Nexon EV. It is expected to be launched in April 2022.
Maruti Suzuki Wagonar EV
The all new Wagon R is one of the best selling car of the company. The WagonR EV can proof to be a good start for the company in electrification. It is likely to be called the Futuro-E, also known as the XL5. The car will offer 200 km range and can be charged up to 80% in just 40 minutes. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 8 to 9 lakh.
